We are delighted to introduce you to our new product, 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗔 𝗚𝗘𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗘.
Cascara is a drink prepared by brewing the dried skins of the fruit surronding the coffee beans. It is a delicious drink not yet fully known in Italy, with exotic and floral notes. A great new addition to our products, which can be enjoyed both cold or hot.
𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗔 𝗚𝗘𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗘, WHAT IS IT?
In Spanish the word "càscara" means husk, peel or skin.
To understand Cascara, it is necessary to step back and remind ourselves that everything starts from the coffee plant Coffea. In nature, the coffee plant resembles a small tree, with oval leaves and small beautiful white flowers, giving off a fragrant smell. The fruit that grows in the center of the white flower is known as coffee cherry or cherry. As shown in the photo below, inside the ripe red cherry you can see the seeds surrounded by a sweet fruit pulp, encased in a thin external skin.
Do you recognize those seeds? After processing, those seeds will become our familiar coffee beans! The novelty here is the external skin, which once dried and combined with water will produce an energizing and vibrant drink, our 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗔 𝗚𝗘𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗘.
